Interior Feel- Again, not much to say, the CX-5 is much nicer inside in most respects, it just feels so much nicer, the Rav4 felt flimsy inside. The CX-5 is smaller inside, but I don't think the reduction in cargo size is going to make a difference for me.I don't regret the Rav4, its a great car despite my first year model having some issues, but I've been enjoying the 4Runner more. I want to keep the car until it dies (certainly at least 10 years, ideally 15+) so this ... The 22 Crosstrek has no changes from 21, and the 22 RAV4 has only minor changes from 21. I have driven the 21 RAV4 and there was nothing exciting about it. But it’s a solid car, just like the Crosstrek. The wildcard is the 23+ Crosstrek. There are spy shots online, but we don’t know much about it other than it being an entirely new car. On the newer model rav4 they have dynamic torque vectoring where there is disconnects on each rear wheel to help with load distribution, for sending torque to one wheel, and to help with the fuel consumption ... Drove both back to back, venza was a quieter more lexus like ride but the shape made it feel smaller inside and seemed to have less cargo space, ended up going with a Rav4 hybrid. Plus rav was a bit cheaper. The Venza looks more refined and the RAV4 is a bit rugged looking. Before RAV (2021, hybrid made in Japan) I owned Peugeot 2008, so it's understandable why I'll vote for RAV and Toyota. For me choise was Tiguan vs RAV. Almoust year and I'll still would took RAV. Nice about RAV, especialy hybrid is a good torque and 7 liters/100 km in the city for me, a lot of space and good looking. Today, I went to test drive a 2007 V6 RAV4 with over 160,000 miles for my friend. I don't drive fast cars every day and the fastest I've driven was a 2012 Challenger r/T with the V8 HEMI. But, this 2gr-fe on that small compact SUV feels way faster than anything else I've driven recently. I still don't know why the 2gr-fe in other Lexus/Toyota ... RAV4 mpg combined was around 40. Camry mpg combined is around 48. Road and wind noise on the Camry are much quieter. Comfort on Camry is much higher. I’d rather have a Camry for a road trip. I also enjoy the sporty look with paddle shifters (useless for hybrid) on the SE Camry. Brand new the Camry was $27k+++ and the RAV4 was $32k+++..
