It really depends if you're looking for really intense nightlife or a quiet, relaxing time. Hvar is the former and Brac is the latter. Both offer amazing nature and a rich itinerary in culture and gastronomy. My husband and I sailed with Unforgettable Croatia on the Memories small ship May 2023 for a cruise around the Adriatic Islands. The ship was incredible and the staff outstanding. You can do a guided day trip to Mostar from either Dubrovnik and then catamaran to Hvar and the on to Split.. Or Alternatively you could use a transfer service (for example Octopus Transfers) that stop for about 3 hours en route between Dubrovnik & Split...have them drop you at the ferry port … Answered: We am looking to visit Croatia in late July/August 2023.
