Pairing the X to directly book through the hotel’s website is only going to give you 2x points. From what I have read, you have to use the Capital One Travel portal to get the 10x points. Plus, Capital One doesn’t currently have any hotel groups for it’s transfer partners, only Wyndham group I believe.
