There is big difference between XVS 1300 and XVZ 1300. The starter is not engaging but the battery is dropping to 11.7 volts with not much load. The buzzing and clicking could be the starter trying to pick up but dropping back out when battery voltage drops.The select and reset switch both share the same ground.
