While most of the materials are relatively easy to get in Destiny 2, players will need a couple of Exotic items called Ascendant Alloy before the Edge of Action can be built. It doesn't matter which character you use, you can use a character whose pattern you have already unlocked. Whoever you use, the pattern you do get will be down to RNG, there's no way to gaurantee that it will be the Titan's pattern.
